In God We Trust

I hope you still have your joy!

The joy of the Lord is your strength.

This is a good time to realize the difference between joy and happiness.

Happiness is based on results, outcomes and circumstances and therefore ebbs and flows with the turns of life.

Joy, however, runs deep and is anchored.

So count it all joy brothers and sisters!

Do not get weary in doing good!

We have an eternal hope attached to an eternal God who is enthroned in his eternal kingdom.

Lift up your countenance and claim your peace.

My heart was sad, but I remembered I’m connected to the vine.

My heart was sad, but I remembered He’s near the brokenhearted.

My heart was sad, but I remembered there is nothing new under the sun.

My heart was sad, but I remembered there is safety and rest in the shelter of the Most High.

My heart was sad, but I remembered I will only observe with my eyes. [Psalm 91:3-8]

My heart was sad, it felt pale, faint, cold and still BUT I remembered the sting of death was removed, the grave has no victory, that I have citizenship in a righteous kingdom and because of that my heart was massaged back to life and fluttered again because of the promises of my King.

Let nothing be stolen from you!

Go in peace.

See you next week!
