Happy New Year!

If you’re reading this, you have something to praise God for.

Happy New Year! We have been kept for another year and have been chosen to enter into 2025!

Let’s pause to thank God for his faithfulness and promises.

One of the many new things I tried last year was cycling. I joined the Cycle Bar community and truly rocked every ride. As I was opening the door for 2025, CycleBar was closing theirs. Once the closing was announced, I had 5 days to make the most of the time remaining. This past Saturday was my final ride and it was bittersweet for sure.

My instructor, Kathleen, said something profound. She said “My fitness journey doesn’t stop here. I may not be able to cycle here anymore but I will find somewhere else to continue on.”

2024 may not have been the best year for you and you’re ready to close the door on it or 2024 was the best year you had in a long time and you feel bittersweet that it’s coming to a close. No matter what your last year looked like, keep the door open for God!

Kathleen knew that her growth, her community and passion are transferable and not limited to one location and one studio. It’s the same for you and me!

CycleBar taught me to be social, to push through resistance, to learn body cues, how fun music is, how to be community driven and so much. I’m definitely carrying these new found insights into 2025.

Everything that you saw, overcame, touched, envisioned, tarried through and accomplished is now part of the rolodex of your life story.

Don’t destroy the foundations laid in 2024.

Don’t put a period where there should be a comma.

Don’t say bye, when it’s a see you later.

Don’t close the door on God.

Will you keep your heart open for what God wants to do with you?

See you next week!
