Godly Growth

God really brings his word to life. He’s the best because he allows the living word to show up in our everyday life.

Can you see it?

The day I planted green onions, carrots, bell peppers and other veggies, the verse of the day was 1 Corinthians 3:7. “So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.”

I know this verse is in regard to evangelism, but the Bible is heavily based on agriculture metaphors too.

During our planting session we each shared responsibility, just like evangelism. We start something by planting and let God grow it internally.

I poured the soil.

My mom laid the seeds.

God brought the harvest.

God thank you for all the ways you grow us and the nature around us!

See you next week!

  1. Brittany, nice illustration and yes the verse of the day was perfectly on point, as we decided to plant 🌱 on that day. God’s word provides spiritual guidance, encouragement, and instruction. Many of these verses emphasize God’s love, strength, and promises to us. See you next week. Keep feeding us 😉
