I saw this post on instagram by Rc Simon, all credits go to him, that I inserted below. 

The timing of me coming across this post was perfect because I’d been meditating on the fruits of the Spirit and his post amplified my thoughts. 

For those not comfortable (yet) having conversations about Jesus without having a connection with the person first or just easing into it in general, let your fruit speak. 

Your love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control lay the pathway to have a full conversation about Jesus. You being kind in a workplace of mean people or you being gentle in a situation where harsh words are expected, will cause you to stand out. 

People will consider this question, “What’s different about you?”

You’ll be like honey where people are attracted to your presence and once they are gathered around you can easily share Jesus with them. 

Your fruit is the evidence of the Spirit working within you and a tool to build connections and relationships that lead to evangelism.

Love draws people in. 

Joy is contagious. 

Peace brings calm. 

Patience shows grace. 

Kindness and goodness reveals compassion. 

Faithfulness shows integrity.

Gentleness and self-control reflect spiritual maturity. 

People are attracted to that “something different” and that difference is the fruit. Don’t stress about trying to convince people, stay connected to the vine and keep producing your fruit and a natural attraction that highlights Jesus will happen.
