I work from home, I shop online and my friends live in different cities. I live a life with minimal interaction from others and I don’t have a true dependency on any one person.
At times I feel lonely but majority of the time I am more than satisfied with my daily routine and the main people in it.
But in the corner of my being, there shows up a spot of loneliness. I thought the void was a relationship desire, a partner soon-to-be spouse but it’s much deeper than that. It’s the rooted concept of community that was included in our genetic make up.
We are designed for each other.
I want to share this video with you because it’s something that surfaces every so often for me and Craig did a phenomenal job teaching on it. I hope you take a moment to listen to it in its entirety, but if you don’t get anything else out of it remember this:
“God didn’t shout His love from heaven, He showed His love on earth when He sent His son, Jesus.”
Be present, pray for strength to counter the culture and when distance is promoted draw close to one another anyways.
See you next week!
