I recently took a trip to Panama and to say it was a blessed trip was an understatement. I saw and felt God throughout the entire stay. I wanted to share one of the moments God spoke to me.
On the way back to the United States, our gate didn’t allow us to be seated until 1 pm for our 3 pm flight and we got there at 11:30 am. Over time, many people came to stand behind us and form a line as they arrived early for the flight. Before we were told the gate would open at 1 pm, there was so much conflicting information. Some of the workers said they didn’t know when the gate would open, the signage didn’t even say American Airlines and then when 1 pm came they were still late allowing us in. One by one people started to leave because they realized it would be 2+ hours before they could sit inside the gate. By 12:35 pm we were the only ones remaining.
I cant lie, seeing people leave the line to go sit and eat while we endured standing was tempting to follow suit. But we had already been standing for so long and what was spoken to me was scripture.
Matthew 24:13 to be exact.
“But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
Take this as a a reminder to endure the “line”. Keep the word of God as your guiding truth and don’t sway to the right or left based on what others around you are doing. Don’t let your relationship with God deteriorate, instead practice active patience and love towards the Father. Let nothing keep your from your reward.
See you next week!
