The enemy is finite.
He doesn’t have an exhaustive playbook of tricks.
His consistencies include killing, stealing and destroying.
One of the ways he likes to toy with us is by having us focus on the one thing we don’t have.
Think about it.
You may have a beautiful circle of friends or belong to a great ministry, but you constantly feel “unaccomplished” or “lacking” because you don’t have a romantic relationship.
Or maybe you started a new health journey and started better daily habits you asked God to help you with, but you don’t travel extensively like some of your counterparts.
Don’t those moments of the him trying to convince you that you are lacking stop you from being a good steward of what you do have.
We ask God for a lot of things.
Today my request is that you and I would be good ground and good soil. That we would nurture, grow and be grateful for what has been given to us and what is to come.
Continue to hope, ask and believe for all your needs and desires, but always make sure you are aligned to be good ground for the blessing.
