I had been feeling pressure in my left eye for about two weeks. I tried different things to alleviate the pressure, there was no change, but it also wasn’t getting worse. 

One day I decided to sit on the couch and rest my eyes. I ended up falling asleep, but while I was sleeping my mom turned the tv to the 700 Club. 

If you’re familiar with the show you know it has an airtime of 1 hour and they conclude each episode with prayer. 

As God would have it, I woke up right in time to hear Gordan and Terry praying. 

Keep in mind I have never intentionally watched the 700 Club before, but I knew that it was a Christian program. 

So I’m hearing Gordon call on God for all these different prayer requests that the Spirit is feeding him and in full transparency, it felt odd watching. I asked myself if I thought it was Spirit led or pre-written, honestly just trying to get a feel for the sincerity of the matter. 

I kept watching and God answered me.

He met me in my need and resolved my doubt too. 

Just as Gordon was wrapping up the prayer segment, Terry took a quick breath and added one final prayer and this is what she said:

“There’s someone with pressure in their eye and they are concerned it will impact their vision. It will not and it will be lifted off you.”

Let’s pause to acknowledge God’s providence. HALLELUJAH! GLORY BE TO GOD!

Instant tears.

I KNEW that was not a coincidence, but a specific word from God to me. He dealt with the matter of my heart (doubt) but also desired to heal my body.

What really set me on fire was her rebuke of a negative impact on my vision. Just that morning I feared in my heart that the pressure might be serious enough to rob me of my eyesight. God said no!

I thanked God, accepted the prayer and immediately went to share the news with my mom. 

Over the next several hours, the pressure lifted. 

All this happened on March 17th and to this day I am completely healed. Only a pure and true God could cure spiritual (doubt) and physical (eye pressure) affliction all at once. As much as He cares about our bodies, he will always prioritize our heart. Our hearts influence our entire lives.

Thank you God for the healing, but most importantly thank you for touching my heart.
