No Matter How Bad It Gets

1–2 minutes

With many government programs being cut and defunded, less jobs available, businesses closing, tariffs and consumer prices skyrocketing, attacks on civil rights and human rights, strains on healthcare and everything else in between, I want you to remember what Habakkuk said:

Though the fig tree does not bud
    and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
    and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
    and no cattle in the stalls,

yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
    I will be joyful in God my Savior

The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
    he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
    he enables me to tread on the heights.

No matter how bad the world around us gets, we have a reason to still rejoice and have joy because God is ours. I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. The last verse also foretells that God will equip us to overcome. He will make our feet like feet of deer to enable us to tread on heights!

God will provide.

We walk by faith and not by sight.

Thank you, God Almighty.

See you next week!
