It’s not always about money.
Sometimes it’s just a hug.
It’s not always about a meal shared.
Sometimes it’s just about being acknowledged.
It’s not always about lengthy advice.
Sometimes it’s just about being heard.
It’s not always about having the perfect thing to say.
Sometimes it’s just about a few words of hope.
When you think you have nothing to offer anyone, you always have a word of hope. More than ever, that’s what people need.
Peter tells us “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have”. One, it tells us that hope is with believers because of God’s faithfulness and two, it tells us to talk about hope and the reason for it (Jesus).
So I pray, that if nothing else, you will leave hope behind wherever you go.
Romans 5:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint
Psalm 42:11
Put your hope in God.
Psalm 119:114
I have put my hope in your word.
See you next week!
