Hope Dealer

It’s not always about money.

Sometimes it’s just a hug.

It’s not always about a meal shared.

Sometimes it’s just about being acknowledged.

It’s not always about lengthy advice.

Sometimes it’s just about being heard.

It’s not always about having the perfect thing to say.

Sometimes it’s just about a few words of hope.

When you think you have nothing to offer anyone, you always have a word of hope. More than ever, that’s what people need.

Peter tells us “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have”. One, it tells us that hope is with believers because of God’s faithfulness and two, it tells us to talk about hope and the reason for it (Jesus).

So I pray, that if nothing else, you will leave hope behind wherever you go.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint

Put your hope in God.

I have put my hope in your word.

See you next week!

Yes, yes Brittany you are spot on with this one, well said and illustrates.  My way of always being prepared is by comforting, actively listening without judgment.  I’ve always encouraged and identify the positive in all situation.  Before I let that person go I ALWAYS PRAY with the them and my prayer always gives a ray of hope, because as you stated God is faithful. As believers when we pray in faith know that it’s done!!  Another point is knowing how to show empathy, letting the person know you care,  you are there for them, a simple hug, a thoughtful gesture, or just being present to listen means a lot!!  Peter is telling us to be prepared to give hope is very important, because when hope is lost, negativity tends to become the driving force.  Brittany thank you for sharing these scriptures and reminding us all of the importance to be prepared to give HOPE and it’s not about the money / material things.  Love you 🥰 see you next week.
