Fall is such a fun season! I have to give major props to my sister for “teaching” me the right way to prepare for, maximize and enjoy the season. 

You might be thinking it’s too early to be awakening the fall vibes, but according to Starbucks and meteorologist’s temperature cycles, fall has begun! No waiting until the 22nd. 

What’s so inviting about the fall season is that life feels easy going during these months. It’s cozy, warm and peaceful. These are elements we consistently want in our lives and that’s why we find ourselves saying things like, “I wish it was fall year round.” We know however, according to Ecclesiastes 3, there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity.

So no, it can’t be fall 365 days a year BUT I know how you can achieve the cozy, peaceful, warm and inviting ambience year round without a pumpkin in sight on a 98 degree summer day. 

It’s simple, live in the Word. When you really consider it, what fall lovers are seeking are the very same thing believers want – comfort, peace and refresh. It’s through God’s word, living in it daily, we create within ourselves a year round ‘fall’ season because we have peace everyday, we know the warmth of his heart, we participate in divine rest and we snuggle in his constant presence. 

Let’s look at this in scripture.

Now is the perfect time to fall in love with God, fall in step with his Spirit and fall at his feet in humility and gratitude.
